I am so honored to have been invited by Veronika Eagelson, the CEO of Modenus Media and Design Hounds, and Zach Elkin, general manager of Signature Kitchen Suites and LG for Builders, to speak to this distinguished group of 23 Design Hounds, shown in the image above, who are some of North America’s top luxury interior designers/influencers and the 12 additional luxury interior designers who are part of Signature Kitchen Suite’s inaugural Design Council.
Many of these women have been friends of mine for years, 6 are past clients, and all of them can help YOU create a spectacular cooking and kitchen experience in your own homes, offices, or resort properties.
This is what the invitation looked like that I received via email from Veronika.
My friends Luann Nigara, Claire Jefford and Carla Aston have also been invited to speak. Claire and Carla will also be attending as Design Hounds, but Luann and I, because we are not working interior designers, will be attending as speakers only.

BACK TO THE STAR OF THE SHOW —-> SIGNATURE KITCHEN SUITES’ NEW EXPERIENCE AND DESIGN CENTER IN NAPA VALLEY!
Recently opened, Signature Kitchen Suites’ state of the art education and design facility, below, is where we will spend most of our time. I can’t wait to see it all in person and to learn all I can from their world famous chefs and teachers.
When I was at #KBIS2019 recently, I was on a panel in Veronika’s space there , the #DMMTalksLounge, with a member of their marketing agency, and learned about how the DNA of their brand is aligned around being #TrueToFood.
To this end, they strive to make innovative appliances that offer the maximum performance to insure that the foods you cook turn out perfectly.
On their website, they have several beautiful videos and informative articles that explain their commitment to being #TrueToFood and I encourage you to watch them by clicking on the link to them at the bottom of this post.
Signature Kitchen Suites’ line of luxury appliances has already won several major awards, including the prestigious Best of the Best RED DOT AWARD.
They are well known for being the only luxury kitchen appliance manufacturer with a sous vide cooker built into the top of the range.
I’ve never cooked food in a vacuum wrapped package before, but after reading all about how to cook sous vide on their website, i can’t wait to see it demonstrated in person….. and to taste the results!
As an aside: look at how hefty those dials are! This line of appliances is perfect, I think, for #manglam kitchens…..my word for kitchens that are a little bit darker (not all white) that appeal to both men and women, a look at which California based architect, Eric Olsen, AIA, excels.
I could so see Eric and his clients appreciating the look, performance and #TrueToFood philosophy of Signature Kitchen Suites new line of appliances. All 3 of the kitchens below have been designed by Eric.

To close, this is one of the kitchens that’s been set up in the new Experience and Design Center to showcase how Signature Kitchen Suites’ range, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc. look, in situ.
